APR announces new service for estate agents

The Accessible Property Register is pleased to announce a new service for estate agents.

We now inform local organisations of disabled and older people whenever a new wheelchair accessible property is advertised with us. These organisations are frequently asked by their members to advise on accessible housing options and this new service will ensure that advisers are kept up-to-date with new property advertised on the Accessible Property Register website.

Organisations informed will normally include local branches of Age Concern, Help the Aged, Stroke Association, Spinal Injuries Association, Princess Royal Trust For Carers, plus local organisations of disabled people.

We anticipate that this service will help to maximise coverage for disabled and older communities and aid us in ensuring that potential purchasers are always made aware when suitable property becomes available.
